Very important ivory christ attributable to an important Genoese master. With a rosewood cross and silver finishes, in the upper part, the Latin inscription INRI: “Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews.” An example from the same workshop is preserved in San Pedro del Vaticano. Provenance: private oratory of Casa Milà, Barcelona. Christ measurements: 40 x 38 cm
