English, c.1700. The main gold mounted rose cut crystal is encircled by eight table cut crystals set in silver. The central crystal houses an elaborate miniature gold thread monogram, framed by further gold thread edging. The triangular faceting of the central crystal is slightly rubbed but displays a sophisticated cutting style. The reverse of the bezel is fluted and decorated with black and white enamels, the shoulders of the shank are rendered with floral carving. Cluster measures: 1.4 x 1.3 cm in diameter. Ring circumference: 53,8 mm.
