Oil on panel, from the biblical passage of the Gospel of Saint Matthew 14:31,32 in which Jesus of Nazareth rescues Peter from shipwreck, the disciples saw Jesus walking on the waters and believed he was a ghost, Peter in the middle of his doubt told jesus to order him to walk towards him and jesus did so then the part we know the most peter hesitated and started sinking yelling for help for jesus to save him because he was sinking but here comes the moment where that today he was meditating, “Immediately Jesus, stretching out his hand, seized him, and said to him: Man of little faith!
