Oil on canvas, canvas measurements only: 105 x 75 cm, frame measurements (exterior): 115 x 80 cm, unreserved lot.Adriaen van Utrecht (Antwerp, 1599 – 1652) was a Baroque painter from Brabant. He belonged to the Antwerp School and painted mainly still lifes. In 1625 he was admitted to the Guild of Saint Luke in Antwerp. He also provided still life elements on the canvases of other painters, including David Teniers the Younger, Jacob Jordaens, Erasmus Quellinus II and Theodoor Rombouts.
