Most likely coming from the casting of the model brought to Seville by the silversmith Franconio and around 1625. Related works: another Christ of identical make preserved in the Royal Palace of Oriente (Madrid), another preserved in the Cathedral of Seville and a model of the same invoice in the Metropolitan Museum in New York. Measurements: 27 cm (hand to foot), 22 cm (head to toe), 22 cm (finger to index finger of each hand) and 5 cm deep. Provenance: property of an important collector, Barcelona. Observations: silver weight 970g.
