In fine wearable, uncleaned, excavated condition. The bezel carved in the form of a lombardic letter ’S’. This kind of rings were used in personal Catholic prayer in a similar fashion to Rosarys with each projection representing a Hail Mary. With an accompanying old collectors note reading ‘14TH CENTURY SILVER RING FOUND IN SALISBURY’. For a similar example see; A. B. Chadour, Rings.
