Painter born in Palma de Mallorca, he was a disciple of Bartolomé Sureda and of the Schools of Fine Arts of Palma and Barcelona. For some time he held the chair of anatomy and landscape drawing for free at the Mallorcan Economic Society of Friends of the Country. He obtained three gold, three silver and one copper medals in the Provincial Exhibitions, and was the author of many paintings that appear in the temples of the Balearic Islands. He was also a regular member of the Palma Academy, correspondent of the San Fernando Academy and honorary chamber painter. At the Balearic Exhibition of 1849, he presented an oil portrait of Canon Guillermo Descallar and other paintings. In the Bellas Artes de Madrid held in 1860, the portraits of Mr. Salvá, bishop of Mallorca; D. J. Llobera, Fr. Don Mariano Conrado, and The author; and in the year 1864, Sisters of Charity, The transit of Blessed Catalina Tomás, Two paintings of dead hunting and Portrait of the oldest lighthouse keeper in Spain.
