French or Flemish school of the 17th century . Oil on canvas, measurements: 111 x 88 cm without frame, measurements with frame: 139 x 116 cm. Version of higher quality than the one preserved at the Galleria Pallatina of Palazzo Pitti long-attributed to Justus Sustermans and thought to be the portrait of Vittoria della Rovere (1622-1694) with her son Cosimo III de’ Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany (1642-1723). Provenance: important private collection, Madrid.
