Inside, two vellums painted in oil and gold representing Christ Salvator Mundi and the Virgin Mary, richly decorated with floral offerings, columns and silver angels, finials and feet in mercury-gilt bronze and lapis lazuli ovals decorating the whole. Measurements each: 81 x 31 x 14 cm each. Provenance: private collection, Spanish industrialist, acquired in the Spanish art and antiques market in the 1960s.
