A gold ring set with an agate cameo depicting the presentation of the Christ child at the temple in Jerusalem. Italian, circa 1600. Set in a high carat gold ring. There is a very small crack at the very bottom of the cameo, in the translucent part of the agate beneath the ground line of the relief. Intaglio measures: 1.9 x 1.5 cm. Ring circumference: 57,6 mm,
