Oil on panel. With documentation. Measurements: 161 x 130 cm. Large proportions Descent of Christ, South Flemish. The large number of characters with a central cross reminiscent of the famous Descent by Rogier van der Weyden. The central group is formed by the body of Christ, the Virgin Mary and Saint John the Evangelist. Among the characters that complete the composition are Nicodemus, Joseph of Arimathea, Mary Magdalene, Mary of Cleopas and Mary Salomé.
